Jumper wire A sets the lower limit of the bass, while jumper wire B sets the upper limit. For some speakers, if the bass volume is set too high, distortion may occur.When this happens: Remove the cap from jumper wire A to limit the sub-bass level, thereby reducing distortion. When you remove the cap from jumper wire B, the bass increases; with jumper wire B’s cap open, the bass decreases. Jumpers C and D control the treble range. With both caps of jumpers C and D open, the treble is at its loudest.If only cap C is open, the treble will be quieter. If only cap D is open, the sound will be even softer. When both caps C and D are removed, there will be no treble at all. (Generally speaking, by adjusting these four jumpers, you’ll eventually find the optimal sound setting. However, the final result still depends on your own testing.)How to Use the Crossover Board:First, connect according to the diagram above (treble, bass, input), attach it to the speaker, seal any air gaps, and then you can start listening to music and fine-tuning.Typically, we use jumper wire A and leave jumper wire B unconnected. As for jumpers C and D: listen carefully to the actual effect on the treble. A general guideline is: A + D = better overall tonal balance; A + C = clear treble and bass; A + CD = clear treble and bass (with a slight emphasis on treble); AB + CD = more midrange. If the bass sounds too strong, you can remove capacitor A.
