JEWIL Azelaic 20% Acid Cream works by reducing the amount of acne causing bacteria on the skin and reduce inflammation counter or neutralize free radicals that cause inflammation. It has significant skin-calming effects. Evens skin tone. It decreases pigmentation, inhibiting an enzyme called tyrosinase that leads to hyperpigmentation, or dark patches of skin. It can be used twice a day, morning and night—but don't forget that skin needs to build up a tolerance, so start by using it just a few times a week. Be sure to follow with moisturizer, as well as sunscreen with at least SPF 30 if you're going to be outside (azelaic acid can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight).
