This filter is not an original product, the water purification cartridge is supplied by BMF[NSF Certified] This water purification cartridge is certified by NSF 372 lead-free material, which can effectively reduce the smell and taste of chlorine in the water. Please note when receiving the product: 1. A small amount of charcoal powder will be spilled during transport, which is normal. 2. Rinse the water purifier with water for 10-15 seconds. 3. The water after the first three filtrations is not suitable for consumption.[High Quality] The filter cartridge is made of natural coconut shell activated carbon and high-quality ion exchange resin, which can efficiently remove all kinds of impurities in the water and retain the health-promoting minerals; the shell is free of bisphenol A (BPA) and lead-free materials, which can protect the drinking water safety and health of you and your family.[Long service life] Under normal water quality conditions, a cartridge can filter 150 litres of water per month and hold about 300 bottles of 0.5 litres of water, reducing the use of plastic bottles. To maintain optimal water purity, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every 4 to 6 weeks. The activated carbon inside the filter is not fully filled, which is an intentional industrial design. Carbon expands by 10%-20% when absorbing water; the reserved space prevents shell cracking and ensures even water flow for optimal filtration. This is not a quality defect.A small amount of carbon dust may appear in the first few uses due to friction during transportation, which is common for all activated carbon filters.Activation steps:① Soak the filter in clean water for 10 minutes, shake gently to release air bubbles.② Discard the first 2-3 batches of filtered water.③ Water will be clear afterwards with no further carbon dust.
