New 36T Helical Ratchet System

The new GOLDIX R310 series features a comprehensive upgrade to the ratchet engagement structure, contact area and surface treatment process.

The optimized system is designed to improve:

With the same ratchet tooth count and similar overall weight, the new structure provides an approximately 20% larger effective engagement area compared with the previous design.

The increased contact area helps distribute pedaling forces across a wider surface, improving the load-bearing capability of the ratchet engagement surfaces and providing more stable power transmission.

Improved Engagement Stability

A larger contact area provides greater engagement redundancy between the two ratchet rings.

This helps maintain stable contact under changing pedaling loads and reduces concentrated stress on individual engagement surfaces.

The result is more consistent and reliable power transfer.

Helical Engagement Design

The optimized helical tooth profile helps guide the two ratchet rings into engagement more smoothly and accurately.

The R310 uses a 24H straight-pull spoke configuration for both the front and rear hubs.
