Carbon Fiber is widely used in specialized, high performance applications such as race cars, aircraft and sporting equipment due to its attractive high strength to weight ratio, added with a smooth finishing. What is the different between wet carbon and dry carbon? Manufacturing process is different.Dry carbon fiber has its resin pre-impregnated, that is, literally built into the fiber. Since no resin is being directly applied, the fiber is “dry”. Pre-impregnated fiber is called “pre-preg” in the carbon fiber industry. The pre-preg fiber is placed in an autoclave to cure at high pressure and heat, which removes impurities and strengthens the material. Feature of Dry Carbon Fiber COSTMore expensive – prepreg fiber costs more to produce, and the need for an autoclave also ramps up costsSTRENGTHStronger – the autoclave process eliminates air bubbles and other impurities, strengthening it significantlyWEIGHTLighter – pre-preg fiber weighs up to 70% lessQUALITYHigher – it’s much stronger and much lighterMAINTENANCERequires proper maintenance to keep its appearance For Acura Integra Type S 2023 2024 2025 Installation tips: 1)Find the exact location where to set it before removing the tape cover;2)Clean the installation areas;3)Remove the tape cover and place the product at the exact position, press it to make a good adhesive;4)No washing within 24 hours.5)Better to use a lighter or a hair dryer to provide a slight heat for the tape after remove the cover,it will improve its stickiness.
