I've been collecting teaware for years, and this kind of stapled teaware is really rare! This ancient technique was used to repair porcelain, and now using it to decorate teaware is a beautiful way to carry on an intangible cultural heritage. Each 'staple' in this craft requires hand-hammering, one by one. If you hit too lightly, it won't be secure; too hard, and you risk breaking the teaware. This craft is incredibly labor-intensive, with a very low yield. The richness of the glaze patterns, the overall appearance, the texture, and the beauty after cracking are all far beyond what you'd expect for something in this category. Truly a master's work!
