DO NOT OPEN THE INNER BAG.Use: Place the bag in a high-flow area of your canister filter, hang-on-back (HOB), or sump for maximum efficiency.When to Recharge: The resin will change color as it absorbs waste. It is time to regenerate when the beads turn dark brown or black.♻️ HOW TO RECHARGE / REGENERATE:To reuse your LGA Purix, simply follow these steps. Do not let the resin dry out during this process.Soak: Place the bag in a non-metal bowl. Soak for 24 hours in a 1:1 mixture of regular, unscented bleach and water until the beads return to a stark white color. (Use ONLY regular, unscented bleach).Rinse: Exhaustively rinse the bag under tap water.Dechlorinate: Soak the bag for 8 hours in fresh water mixed with a concentrated aquarium dechlorinator (use 3 to 5 times the normal dosage).Test: Smell the bag.
