This pot is great for frying eggs, making soup, or reheating pre-cooked food and braised dishes from the fridge. It works well for simple reheating tasks. The design is compact and exquisite, and since it is rust-proof, I make sure to wipe it clean after every use. The pot is deep, sturdy, and perfectly sized for a single person, though we still manage to enjoy a full pot of soup from it every time. When used with a flatbed microwave, the heating is steady and gentle. I believe this pot would perform even more efficiently with a high-powered microwave or on a quality gas stove to really bring out its full potential. For my daily needs like frying eggs and reheating soups, it definitely does the job. While I haven't tried stir-frying in it yet, I look forward to testing that out next time on a gas stove or with a stronger microwave.
