FATROCORTIN 100ML DEXAMETHASONE

Formutation - Each ml. contains Dexamethasone 1 mg.

Indications Inflammatory conditons in all specie to reduce the inflammation due to allergy, infection trauma or other causes, for example arthritis, bursitis, synovitis, laminitis, myositis, and dermatitis. The product is indicated in a particular condition of cattle, so called acetonaemia or ketosis, where the animal needs an increase of blood glucose levels.

Dexamethasone (Fatrocortin) is also indicated (in association with antibiotic therapy) for the control of inflammatory and toxic reactions, stress, during bacterial infection.

Dosage and Administration By intramuscular injection. Cattle-camels: 10-20 mL-Horses: 5 mL - Pigs, sheep, calves: 5 mL-Dogs, cats: 1½-1 mL

Warning - Dexamethasone (Fatrocortin), such as all the corticosteroids, is contrandicated in cattle, camels and sheep during the last quarter of pregnancy, unless abortion is required.

Withdrawal Cattle: 72 days. Pigs: 21 days.

Ruminants: 21 days.

Controindication Should not be administered in conjunction with a vaccine; should not be used in horses intended for human consumption and in sheep producing milk for human consumption.

Storage Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
