FORMULATION: Each mL contains: Iron Dextran equivalent to 100 mg elemental iron.

DOSAGE: FOR INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION: Preventive Medication: Inject 1 to 2 mL of Iron Dextran (IRON-D) to 2-3 day old piglets. If signs of anemia persist, repeat medication on the tenth (10th) day.

Therapeutic Medication: Piglets: 1 to 2 mL when indicated at 5 to 28 days of age. Sows: 3 mL to 5 mL depending on size. Calves: 2 mL to 3 mL depending on size.

INDICATIONS: For the treatment and prevention of hypochromic anemia in piglets.
