Unlike standard accelerometers designed for gentle motion sensing, this breakout is made for high-acceleration applications up to ±200g, making it a strong choice for rockets, launches, crash detection, shock logging, sports testing, and rugged motion tracking.      This breakout gives you 3-axis acceleration data over either I2C or SPI, so it’s easy to integrate with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other development boards. Adafruit also adds STEMMA QT / Qwiic compatibility for quick solderless I2C wiring, making prototyping much faster.  Important: This is a fixed-range ±200g accelerometer. This one is made for much more intense motion and impact, with a fixed ±200g range.    Can I use this with Arduino or ESP32?       Yes. You can connect it over I2C or SPI, and it works well with common microcontroller platforms.    Is STEMMA QT cable included?       No. The board has STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors, but the cable is sold separately.    Can I use this for tilt sensing?       You can, but it is optimized for high-g motion. For slower and smaller movements, a lower-range accelerometer is usually a better fit.    Does it support interrupts?       Yes. It includes two interrupt pins that can be configured for motion-related events such as activity, inactivity, threshold triggers, and shock detection.
