WUYIXING | Special Grade Rare Variety Mei Zhan Tea 35g

This product has a very unique and distinctive quality.

This tea is quite impressive! Some comments mentioned that the aroma resembles hawthorn, and I totally agree. I've only been into tea for two months and have tried a bunch of different varieties. While this tea isn’t super clear, the first sip is sweet and has a lovely light sweetness. I found out that the name 'Mei Zhan' comes from the dry tea and tea soup smelling like plum blossoms. I’ve been into fragrance for seven or eight years, and while I might not have fully developed my taste for tea yet, my sense of smell is good. I can't seem to pick up any plum blossom aroma from the dry tea or tea soup, even though they say it has floral notes. Combining the aromas and flavors, especially in the second brew, I personally think it leans more towards fruity notes, very much like green plums, with a crisp and slightly sweet feel, along with the hawthorn-like aroma. So, I’d classify this Mei Zhan as a fruity type! Definitely adding it to my list for a re-purchase!
