VILTROX AF 9mm F2.8 Air APSC Ultra Wide Lens for Sony E-MountMVP is an Authorized PH Dealer for Viltrox LensesThe Viltrox AF 9 mm f/2.8 Air (Sony E‑mount, for APS‑C) is an ultra‑wide prime lens engineered to deliver expansive perspective with compact portability. On an APS‑C body, it provides the equivalent field of view of a 13.5 mm full‑frame lens, making it ideal for landscapes, architectural interiors, street scenes, and creative wide‑angle applications where you want to capture a sweeping view. Despite its wide reach, it remains lightweight and user‑friendly, thanks to a slim profile and internal focusing mechanism. Autofocus is driven by a smooth, quiet STM motor, allowing for discreet shooting. The optical design (13 elements in 11 groups, including ED, HR, and aspherical elements) along with an HD multilayer nano coating helps suppress flare, ghosting, and reduce aberrations for improved contrast and clarity. With a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, this lens is also capable of tamer background rendering for creative shots. Compact yet capable, it offers excellent versatility for everyday shooting in field, travel, or indoor conditions.SPECIFICATIONSFocal Length: 9 mm (≈ 13.5 mm full‑frame equivalent on APS‑C)Maximum Aperture: f/2.8Minimum Aperture: f/16Lens Mount: Sony EFormat Coverage: APS‑CAngle of View: 113.8°Minimum Focus Distance: 5.11 in / 12.98 cmMaximum Magnification (Macro Reproduction Ratio): 0.15× (1:6.66)Optical Design: 13 elements in 11 groups (including ED, HR, and aspherical elements)Aperture / Iris Blades: 7 bladesFocus Type: Autofocus (STM motor)Image Stabilization: NoneFilter Thread: 58 mm (front)Dimensions (Diameter × Length): 65 × 56.4 mm (2.6 × 2.2 in)Weight: 175 g / 0.4 lb
