However, since these shoes are designed to fit smaller than usual and are adjustable with Velcro, we recommend considering size 45 for added comfort, especially if your feet are on the thicker or wider side.\"\n\nThese are almost too small. A larger size would have been better. if they were a closed shoe I would not be able to wear them, my toes are poking out the edge, and these slippers are very narrow. the straps are also very short, the Velcro barely catches. and a manufacturing note: the Velcro strips are on backwards, the hook side is facing the foot, it should be facing away. and the heel pockets are too shallow. my heels pop out constantly. \n\nthe slippers are well padded, appear to be well constructed. just a little too small for American swollen diabetic feet.\n\nnote that these slippers have no heel counters. the heel fabric that surrounds the heel is very soft. I have walked of these at least 6 times today.
