Beverly Hills Polo Club (BHPC) is a fashion brand established in 1982, inspired by the luxury and heritage of Beverly Hills and the sport of polo. It wasn't directly founded by a polo club, but rather by two Los Angeles students who saw potential in using the name and imagery of the sport and the city to market clothing. Initially, they focused on simple printed t-shirts and sweatshirts to fund their education. The brand quickly grew, leading to the development of women's and men's clothing lines and eventually becoming a licensing operation.
