This is perfect for my needs! Even though I have a considerably spacious area for mouse movements, my mouse cord always snags with whatever else is on my table. When I am using a wireless mouse, I do sometimes run out of space due to other things on my desk. This trackball-by-thumb mouse eliminates all mouse movement problems.\n\nI can attest that this product works on Linux devices as well, I am running Peppermint OS with kernel 6.1 on desktop and laptop, and the mouse was tested on both platforms, one with the USB dongle and one with just Bluetooth connectivity.\n\nThe DPI settings button also works great and it lets me choose the sensitivity of the trackball movements on my screen.\n\nUSB type C connectivity is convenient for charging and the auto sleep functionality is sufficiently intuitive and workable.\n\nThe hand position is found to be comfortable enough but I need a longer time on it to provide a reliable assessment.\n\nThis is an excellent product! I do not really like the color though but I believe it will eventually grow on me.
