If you get stuck, check to make sure there are no foreign objects such as stones or nails in the input. For hard inputs like coffee beans or large corn kernels, multiple passes may be required. Start by turning the adjustment screw and the 2 side screws (detailed in the picture) to set to a coarse grind so that the grinding wheel separates to accommodate the larger particles. The first pass will crack the grain. Then put the output back into the hopper, adjust the settings, and grind again. You can do one, two or more passes to achieve the desired texture.NOTE: We do not recommend alternating the use of machines for human and animal consumption.
