ORICO MiniDock Storage Expansion Dock for MaMini M4&M4 Pro Stand USB3.2 Gen2 Type C Dock with 512G 1T 2T 4T M.2 SSD

Among all the M4 mini docks, this one had majority of what I needed - from ports to SATA compatible ssd slot with passive cooling. I would have preferred a dock that the Mini can sit on horizontally like the MiniLink, but either it's only NVME compatible or it has a fan. I would not have had a problem with fan noise but I use the Mini mainly for audio recording so even a faint sound like that would leak, and I already have an NVME ssd on another enclosure, so I just want a SATA ssd for Time Machine and other storage. \n\nEven with a SATA ssd , i still put a thermal pad on it since the ssd slot is at the bottom with not much ventilation. it is also the reason why I didn't consider putting in an NVME ssd cos that would really heat up here for sure.\n\nSo far, I only use the USB ports and all good! I have not used the other ports yet, cos I don't really need them for now. From China, I got it here in the Philippines in 5 days. As a bonus, it had a free Mini M4 silicone case.
