so far, it's sooooo much better than the magnetic case I got from Kenke (the detachable magnetic one). This one covers the edges of the ipad with a jelly type material and a plastic material for the back part. The magnet is strong and you can attach it in portrait mode. The stand is also quite stable, it's just a little bit bulky because you're technically using 2 cases. The one from Kenke had more reviews than this but actually, some reviewers had their ipads damaged because it fell and the entire case fell off (magnet isn't strong on that one)
