Also, the oil chamber contains the right amount of oil before shipment. Before using it for the first time, remove the cover plate, and unscrew the vent plug until there is a 1/16” gap. If an oil spill is evident. Or if the vent plug was found open, it is necessary to check the oil level before pumping.2. With the release valve open, the pump handle about 6 full strokes to assure complete distribution of oil.3. Close release valve and jack are ready to use.4. Always center the load on the saddle of the jack. Off-center loads and loads are lifted while the jack is not sitting.
