This manual food grinder is great for grinding grain corn nuts and grains. This manual food grinder is perfect for grinding grains, corn nuts and grains - the adjustment of the grinder allows you to go from coarse to fine grinding for a variety of recipes. Durable cast iron construction and anti-rust treatment make this mill easy to clean. The sturdy clamp base holds the grinder securely on a table or counter. The long-arm hardwood handle facilitates continuous operation and is easy and simple to use. You should not turn the handle with excessive force. If you get stuck, check to make sure there are no foreign objects such as stones or nails in the input. For hard inputs like coffee beans or large corn kernels, multiple passes may be required. Start by turning the adjustment screw and the 2 side screws (detailed in the picture) to set to a coarse grind so that the grinding wheel separates to accommodate the larger particles. The first pass will crack the grain. Then put the output back into the hopper, adjust the settings, and grind again. You can do one, two or more passes to achieve the desired texture.

NOTE: We do not recommend alternating the use of machines for human and animal consumption. The actual item has a glossy finish with signs of wear and tear from industrial manufacturing. This does not affect functionality. We do a full inspection of the items before packing.
