Sayang.. mey ring panaman ako sana ibbigay skanya inuna ko lang ibgay yun couple watch.. hehe pero suot ko prin to kasi umaasa pa eh..
Got it fast the next day. Mine came with batteries installed. Just remove the white plastic stopper around the crown. It's there to save battery while in storage.
The watch looks pretty good, but it's overall quality is more in line with other sub-P300 watches like Yazole. I'm rating it based on its price of only P222/each. It's an imitation of a very expensive watch from German manufacturer Nomos Glashütte. Kinda funny that they named it "Nomus" lol.
Of course it doesn't look as expensive as the $3760 original, but it's a good-looking copy. They even changed the color of the "12" marker to red to imitate the Doctors Without Borders edition. Take note that the subdial doesn't move -- "japorms" lang.
The shape looks thin for its size. For the men's version, the edges are only 5mm then tapers to 7mm in the middle (the original Ahoi is 11mm edge to edge). The thin edge kinda makes it look cheaper. Wish they made the back straight instead of tapered.
I wouldn't call this a replica or fake because they didn't use the branding and product images of the original (unlike some overseas sellers). This is arguably a "homage watch". Just understand what it is and you'll be fine coz it looks good for the price of a coffee and donut.
I wouldn't wear this to a meeting or when there is potential to be patronized or looked down upon by snobs. It's a filler for those times when wearing a more expensive watch isn't ideal. Like when you're shopping or outdoors or in a sleazy bar.
