The Data usage widget helps keep track of MiFi data usage both in the home as well as roaming networks. The GeoSearch widget makes use of the built-in GPS system functionality of the MiFi. It can display maps of the local area as well as search for specific locations within that local area and even display such search results as locations on the on-screen map. The Weather widget helps fetch current weather and meteorological data for specific and defined locations. The MiFi DLNA Server widget helps to configure, stop and start the functioning of the MiFi DLNA server.
The 4G LTE network supported MiFi devices come with 3G backward compatibility. The 4G LTE enabled MiFi devices can support a download limit ranging from 5–12 Mbit/s and an upload limit ranging from 2–5 Mbit/s.

The status display bars at the front panel use E Ink technology. These display bars show the data regarding battery life, the signal strength of internet network, and the specific number of devices that are connected. Some specific MiFi devices come equipped with Qualcomm technology and support up to a whopping 100 Mbps download speed.
